About Jean

I grew up pretending everything was fine. I know what it feels like to be the responsible one, the quiet one, the fixer — all while carrying the ache of not being seen for who you really are.

LightNluv was born from the cracks in that illusion — the places where I finally let the truth in.

I’m the author of *Pretend All Is Well*, a poetry collection shaped by the invisible wounds of parentification, emotional neglect, and inherited silence. These poems became part of my healing — and an offering to anyone walking a similar path.

This space is for you if you’ve ever felt like you had to shrink, manage everyone else’s emotions, or put your needs last just to stay safe.

“You are not too much.
You were just too wise for their comfort.”

In this site, I will share poems and reflections with some intuitive guidance that comes from years of therapy, deep personal work, and a lion-hearted commitment to truth.

I believe in softness. I believe in anger. I believe in reclamation.
And I believe you can come home to yourself — one line, one truth, one breath at a time.
